Caliente is comprised of a young, but experienced, group of talented individuals. Four beautiful girls take center stage as the rest of the band is comprised of Keyboardist/Vocalist, Guitar Player/Vocalist, Bass Player, Drummer, Percussion/Vocalist, Latin percussionist, and Brass section. Caliente is always on the cutting edge of today’s music styles, while maintaining a grip on the traditional classics and everything else in between. Their musical range covers many styles such as: Top 40, House, R & B, Rock & Roll, Ballards, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, Cha Cha, etc . This band's extensive musical repertoire includes crowd pleasers from artists like Julio Iglesias, Marc Anthony, Gypsy Kings, Donna Summers, Bon Jovi, Santana, Billy Joel, and Enrique Iglesias just to name a few. Caliente has performed for many distinguished clients...which include: Donald Trump, Tommy Mottola and Thalia’s wedding, David Chase (Producer of the Sopranos), The NFL, American Airlines, Univision, The Ronald McDonald Foundation, The American Cancer Society, World Yacht, and many others. They have even performed in Casa Blanca for the Royal Family.
Caliente has also opened and performed with many renown artists, such as: Marc Anthony, Gloria Estefan, Donna Summer, Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, American Idol-Taylor Hicks, etc. Caliente has also been featured on many TV shows and events such as: Live with Regis and Kelly, The Sopranos, nationally televised Music festivals, Eye Witness News, and Radio Shows.
Depending on the needs of the clients, Caliente can be very accommodating in adjusting the amount of pieces needed for a particular event... no matter how big or small a function, (Weddings, Bar/Batmitzvah’s, Corporate Events, Birthdays, etc.)...Caliente can adjust the size of the band from between 3 to 15 pieces. In the New York and Tri- State area’s bands industry, Caliente has been a top notch, rehearsed act for over 20 years. Their band members have traveled the world over performing their unique sound at such places as Eilat Israel, performing for the Isrotel Hotel chain, where they were a featured act at the 9th Annual Jazz Festival.
